Now that I’m in my early 30’s, I’ve realized that I reaallllyyyy have to take care of my body in order to feel my best. Eating right and exercising is a given, but within the past 2 years, I’ve realized how important detoxing your body is. With all of the environmental pollution, processed foods, hair/body care products-most people are in desperate need of a serious detox. Detoxing results in a wide range of positive effects and gets rid of that sluggish feeling that tries to creep in.
Why I Detox:

When I Detox:
The best time for me to detox is usually when I’ve been eating horribly-especially after the holidays with all of the yummy food, wine, food (did I say food? lol) or when I just start to feel sluggish. A liver cleanse is a great way to jump start health/weight goals. One of the main ways that the body rids itself of toxins is through the liver. Simply put, our bodies don’t function well when they’re loaded with toxins. I’ve learned that detoxifying the liver clears my skin, helps me lose weight, regulates my bowels and gives me an overall sense of well being.
